About the manufacturer:
Tartare cheese is made in a factory located in the Dordogne region of southwestern France. The factory is owned by the international French corporation Savencia, formerly Bongrain. While producing cheeses and other dairy products, Savencia specializes in manufacturing cheeses made according to the traditions of their origins. Its products are distributed world-wide
About the product:
Tartare is a fresh white, airy, whipped cheese. Tartare Aperifrais is a unique product: It is packaged in a tray with 15 bite-size servings; add toothpicks for and serve. There are two kinds of Tartare Aperifrais flavors: Italy and Provence.
When served:
One can eat the bite-size Tartare pieces as they are, or put them on a cracker or slice of tomato. An original appetizer would be to place each bite-size piece on a slice of Portobello mushroom, heat in an oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees, and serve.
