About the product:
Bresse Bleu is a soft cheese with a white mold that ripens with penicillium Roqueforti to create the blue veins. After the desired shape is created, the cheese is removed from the pan, salted, and then coated with Penicillium camemberti, to create the outer camembert-like coating. Its rich taste is reminiscent of Italian gorgonzola, and its core is soft and easily spread.
When served:
Bresse Bleu is perfect for hosting, accompanied by good brown bread and a red wine, perhaps a cabernet sauvignon. It can be also be placed as a top layer of lasagna or various quiches.
