The factory producing Babybel is part of the international Bel Corporation, one of the largest cheese manufacturers in Europe with factories across the continent and in the US. It is located in the region of the Jura Mountains, near the border with Switzerland. This is the source of the excellent milk used in manufacturing all its products. Cows grazing naturally where the air and water are clean, producing superior quality milk.

Babybel, or more precisely mini Babybel is a snack of the Edam family of cheeses. The bite-size packages are unique, where each serving is packed in a red wax coating The cover helps preserve the cheese when out of the refrigerator or the home.
