About the manufacturer
The Briois factory was established in 1937 in the Pas de Calais region in northern France, bordering Normandie, and uses the milk produced in the hundreds of farms spread throughout the region to make its products. Briois specializes in only one product – butter.
It is the primary supplier for the retail and professional market in the entire north of France. The production methods are traditional and specific to the region, famous worldwide for the quality of the milk produced there.
About the Butter
Briois butter is made from 100% local milk.
Anyone who tastes it cannot fail to recognize the rich and layered flavor of authentic French butter. Most of their butter contain 82% fat, 16% water, 2% milk solids and minerals and salt (in some varieties).
To the skeptics asking what is so special about French butter, we invite them to taste and compare it with butter made in Israel or any of the eastern European brands flooding the market nowadays. No more need be said. !
We import two Briois products: a home package of 250 grams and a professional package of 1 kilogram.
When Served
Butter has always been an inseparable part of elite kitchens throughout the world. Its rich flavor gives dishes a depth and fullness which is hard to achieve otherwise. Beyond its use as a fat for cooking, butter serves a crucial role in binding and accentuating flavors. French cuisine, admired the world over, is based on the use of butter. Beyond being an important basic ingredient, it serves as a base for sauces in countless dishes. Sometimes it is simply melted and drizzled over a dish, other times it is used as the main ingredient in a more complex sauce accompanying French dishes, such as: from Beurre blanc, a sauce based on shallots, white wine, butter and vinegar, to a nuttier flavored butter, slightly roasted and used to season fish dishes.
