Prima Donna is a brand manufactured in Holland. It is told that the founder of the Dutch factory toured the world looking for unique cheeses. During his journeys in France and Italy he fell in love with several of the cheeses made there and when he returned he decided to manufacture cheeses with a character and flavor related to Italian parmigiana and French gruyere.

About the product:

Prima Donna Maturo is a cheese similar in taste and texture to Italian parmigiana. Its aging process and manufacturing process give it a pungent taste and the salt clusters inside it a reminiscent of the famous Italian cheese. This cheese won an international gold medal in Birmingham, England in 2013 and was nominated best cheese in Europe for that year.

When served:

This cheese will work well in sandwiches and pasta dishes. It will go well with all kinds of red wine.
